Kettlebell Color Coding

A little bit different than usual… but an important topic nonetheless!

Some people may know that there is an international standard for colored weights (55s/25kg are red, 45s/20kg are blue, etc.) but as kettlebells are less common, not everyone knows that the same applies to kettlebells

There are a LOT more kettlebell size than weight plates so there’s quite a large color variety and more than like your favorite color is included.

Besides making the kettlebells look good this colored style makes it very easy to identify what kettlebell is what weight. Usually these will be added on by the manufacturer, at least the higher end kettlebells do this (such as rogue, rep, etc.). See the first photo for an example from our personal gym

Pro tip: if your kettlebell is the like the CAP kettlebell in the second picture, meaning it is just bare metal with no color mark. Use some tape and add your own! This is great if you often workout with partners or are a trainer/gym owner.
