Using them is about as aggressive of an experience as one would imagine with a name like that… they are intense!
These things are a good workout that’ll get the heart rate going and make your arms sore. It’ll also engage your core and stabilizer muscles very nicely. To use, get into an athletic stance, hold the rope in each hand, brace your core and legs, and start pumping your arms up and down.
Who should get these?
-Home gym owners who like to have outdoor lifting options (for example, you can put it around a tree/pole)
-Home gym owners with a lot of space (you’ll need at least 10-25 feet of open room to use these properly)
Now, let’s say you decided that these are right for you. What should you get? Most (not all) ropes are the same thickness so the only thing you need to really keep in mind is the length of the rope. Rule of thumb: the longer the rope, the more energy required to lift it up/slam it down. If you have the space, better to get a longer one as you can always coil it up if you want to get quicker pumps in with a shorter piece.
